Completed: 1940s Australian Women's Land Army Overalls

After a little more than two months I've finally finished the Beryl Overalls pattern produced by The Tailor's Apprentice. Lorna, the proprietor, asked me to review the pattern for her. The photos pretty much speak for themselves and I'm much too eager to show them to you to delay posting them for the review I'll write, so look for that in a few days!
Also a huge huge thank you to my boyfriend for being my photographer and his dad for bringing out his collection of army trucks to play with.

  3. 1. I love overalls for gardening!
    2. Me British Mum's name was Beryl. (the British accent is close enough to an Aussie accent, right?)

    Is this a sign? ;-D

  5. Holy moley!!! Those are awesome photographs! You did a fantastic job modeling and the backdrops and props are wonderful. My favorite is the welding gear. A pretty simple ( but totally awesome) garment but a really AMAZING photoshoot. Well done you and your boyfriend.

  8. Love the photos! Your styling of the overall looks great, and it's fun to see how feminine you can make that rather masculine garment look!

    1. PS - A 'collection' of army vehicles? How unusual. There must be a story there.
