My 1970s Patterns

With the exception of those not on VPW, this comprises my 1970s women's pattern collection. Which ones would you make?

  1. Wowsers! I really love 70s patterns! My favorites are:

    7310 - Jumpsuit
    7177 - Swing Dress
    9800 - Puff Sleeve Dress
    5696 - Tennis Dress
    8153 - Swim Separates

BUT - the one I would make for myself, and I would make EVERYTHING from this pattern, is #5855 I love everything about it. Its got a little vintage influence plus it's menswear inspired. Love! Now off to the interwebs to see if I can find one for myself. :)

  3. I don't play tennis but I adore the little tennis dresses. I'd take lessons just so I could wear one.

  7. Oh is that all?

The Elvis-type contrast piping jumpsuit gets all my love... seriously.

That... cultist hippie robe thing is pretty great for comedic value.

  8. I have many of these patterns. I've made that apron dress (5th one down) and it's a WINNER!

  9. S-9260 was the pattern used for my bridesmaid's dresses back in the 70s. I made one for my sister since she couldn't sew. I made my wedding dress, too, out of white eyelet but haven't seen the pattern, yet. That was as bride-like as I could get back in my hippie days.

    I like the apron dress.
